  • Career-defining opportunity for a driven Partnerships Manager.
  • Join a leading SaaS company in the Human Capital Management sector, identifying partnership opportunities and promoting our range of platforms.
  • Attractive remuneration plus great benefits, regular awards, and social events!

What is the Scout Talent Marketplace and what do our Partnerships look like?

Part and parcel of our service offering, the Scout Talent Marketplace is essentially the space where suppliers, who have integrated their products with our software, sell these products through us (and our sales team), becoming our partners.

Through ascending levels of integration, our partnerships exist in several tiers, including:

  • Referral Partners: where our sales team refers clients/leads to a supplier - perfect for online job boards to increase view rates
  • Affiliate Partners: where our sales team sells a product on behalf of a supplier - products such as personality tests and performance management software
  • Whitelabel Partner: where a supplier's product is white labelled as Scout Talent and our team sells it accordingly

The Marketplace creates value for Scout Talent clients by allowing them to choose the best HR tech stack to suit their needs, and then integrate Scout with their other HR systems of choice in a seamless manner. It also provides our clients with a 'one stop shop' for all of their HCM products and services.

The Opportunity

Scout Talent has exciting growth plans, a key part of which is the expansion of the Marketplace. As such, a rewarding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and energetic Partnerships Manager to join our global Head Office in Brisbane.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for expanding the Scout Talent Marketplace, leveraging your communication skills, strategic thinking as well as your tactical sales ability.

We've used the word 'Manager' in this title because we're looking for strong experience and will remunerate accordingly, however, please don't be misled. You will need to roll up your sleeves and be very hands-on in the execution of this role. If you love taking ownership and are motivated to achieve big goals, you'll feel right at home as our Partnerships Manager.

Core duties:

  • Drive outreach to contact potential partners;
  • Build, maintain, manage and develop long-term relationships with current and prospective partners;
  • Work closely with the marketing and technology teams to execute sales strategies related to the marketplace and partners;
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with the Scout sales leaders and their teams; and
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance Scout Talent's values, unique culture, and vision for the future.

About You

You could be our new Partnerships Manager if you have:

  • Proven experience in partnerships, strategy, and operations (ideally in the SaaS space)
  • Exceptional consultative selling and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills (internal and external)
  • A positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for their successes and failures
  • A sharp focus on their goals and a belief that their daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them

Whilst not essential, experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR will be highly valued, as it will give you a head start in understanding the landscape in which we are working.

The Benefits

The remuneration package for this role is made up of a base salary and performance-based incentives, commensurate with skills and experience. In addition, you will have access to a range of fantastic benefits, such as:

  • Clear pathways for career progression
  • Regular rewards and social events - including quarterly awards nights/parties, and an annual overseas trip for high achievers (when the world opens up again)
  • An exciting career in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries, software and services in the HR tech space
  • The chance to join a well-established global organisation and get in at the early stages of next phase of growth
